Diabetes Is a Narcissist.
It’s not a diagnosis. It’s a relationship — and it doesn’t play fair.
The Question
Why didn’t anyone tell me this sooner?
You hear all about the diet, insulin, and complications. But no one prepares you for how it invades every corner of your life.
For over thirty years, I fought a system that wasn’t built to hear me. So I made it my mission to arm you for this unfair battle — with the truth about what you’re really up against, and the tools to finally level the playing field.
The Metaphor
I won’t spoil the book, but I know you know this much.
Diabetes doesn’t play fair. It’s never at fault — and you are always to blame.
I spent years giving more, trying harder, hoping it would finally be enough.
It never was.
Narcissists never get enough. Ever.
“Better” finally came when I took my power back.
The Approach
I learned this through diabetes — because that’s the relationship that finally showed me the pattern clearly enough to name it.
But the tools in this book aren’t diabetes tools. They work in any relationship — with an illness, a job, a person — that takes more than it gives and convinces you it’s your fault.
The medical system will treat your body. No one shows up for your mind. Your soul. The parts of you that carry the exhaustion, the shame, the isolation.
My approach is holistic — body, mind, and soul, together. This book gives you practical tools to see yourself differently, and take your power back.
The Invitation
This book is for you if you’re tired of being told you’re not trying hard enough.
If you’ve done everything right and still feel like you’re failing.
If you’re ready to stop fighting an opponent that was never playing fair — and start living life on your terms.
Today is the day everything gets a lot Better.
