I love that experts are making OUR voices heard on Capitol Hill!!  Insulin affordability needs to be addressed in congress today!  Diabetes expert Alvin C. Powers, MD, director of the Vanderbilt Diabetes Center and Chief of the Vanderbilt Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism, will address Congress TODAY to call for measures to lower prices and reduce out of pocket costs.  He sees first hand, every day, how the outrageous price of insulin impairs the ability to manage the disease well.  A personal giant THANK YOU to those with clout and influence who use their voices to make a difference.
