Some days are for rest, receiving and reflection.
I am reminded this week that some days are for rest, receiving and reflection. There are days when slowing down and letting the day unfold is better than checking everything off your to-do list. Either way you still experience life and your time is worthy. It is what you notice about the day, not what you accomplish that matters. Did you learn? Did you find peace? Did you pray? Did you receive comfort from another? Those are worthy endeavors as well as “doing” stuff. A little tougher if you have diabetes, because you don’t get a day off and you still have stuff to do. But when your body calls you to slow down – pay attention and don’t resist.
